Adelle has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and commitment to patient care over the past 20 years. She spends most of her day in her office, taking call after call with the highest standards of ethics and compassion. I can't begin to count the number of times, while rooming a patient, that they've asked if Adelle is here: "I would like to meet this wonderful nurse who helped me with my health questions." Many patients know her only by her voice on the phone as she guides them through their concerns, including the many difficult "red flag" situations she has calmly navigated.

All of us at the clinic rely on the calm presence of Adelle. One day, while I was rooming a patient, she asked if she could speak with Adelle for a moment. They had never met in person, only over the phone. Adelle came down from her office, spoke with her for a few minutes, and then returned upstairs. When I went back into the room, the patient was wiping away tears, saying, "I just love that lady."

We are so grateful for our Nurse Adelle, who leads the way in our department-from the front desk, to the MAs, to the providers and especially for our patients. Her commitment reflects the true spirit of nursing and the mission of our organization.
